A product called ‘Plaque Off’ was launched in 2006 in which the active ingredient is the same seaweed as Seagreens® Ascophyllum in Seagreens® Food Granules and Seagreens® Culinary Ingredient.

Within this type of seaweed, the important nutrients are the mucopolysaccharides, special carbohydrates unique to seaweeds. These are also an important component in Seagreens® wild Pelvetia, the seaweed used in our chewable Seagreens® Salad & Condiment product which can be chewed straight from the packet, used at the table instead of salt, or soaked in cold water for 6 - 8 minutes and added to salads and warm vegetables.
